**My Review**

Wonderful tale of self-discovery!

Could you take a vow of silence?

Sixteen year old Chelsea cannot keep a secret. One night at a party she discovers a secret that nearly gets as classmate killed. If she had just kept her mouth shut, things wouldn’t be the way they are now.

People don’t always realize that things that they can say can be hurtful or harmful. Following the events of a party one night, Chelsea, inspired by a National Geographic article, takes a vow of silence. She starts her discovery of who real friends are, realizing how other things she had said had hurt others, and learning what she likes (she had learned quickly that many of the things she “liked” she really didn’t like, her ex-best friend was the one who really liked it). Having fallen down the high school social ladder, once running with the popular crowd, she is determined not to let the students harrassing her get her down.

I started this book yesterday after 5pm, I read it off and on until 2am when I finished it. I really did love reading this book. I just couldn’t go to bed until I had finished the book….even if I had to be at work by 7am.
