My Review

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas…….right? Not so much for Megan. She is in Vegas for a bachelorette party. She is out with the other bridesmaids and having a few drinks. There are a few pieces here in there she can remember. That’s never a good sign. She wakes up with a killer headache, puking, and married. She couldn’t remember his name. Couldn’t remember getting married.

Now Megan has a Life Plan. This marriage is not part of her plan. She is ready to get the lawyers on it and get an annulment. The surprising factor is that Conner Reed (her now husband) doesn’t want the divorce. He has his own Life Plan, and thinks that Megan will make the perfect wife from his Plan. Somewhere throughout the night, while she was drunk, they had decided that their plans would work together and they would both be getting what they want, so they went an eloped.

Eventually Megan agrees to give it a trial run, but was their plans really the best? This book had me laughing at bits and pieces. If you are looking for a light simple read (and enjoy romances) it is a really good book. Now, you KNOW what happens in the end just from the kind of book it is. I still enjoyed and and seeing the way the characters got to where they are.

My Review

This novel had my emotions going. I laughed and cried. How do you know what is up and what is down after the traumatic experience of a parent dying? Ashley is left with questions, not only is she feeling the grief of her loss, but she is also angry. With herself, her family, everyone.  She went from being one the “popular” girls to not caring what they think of her. She wants to lash out, cause trouble.

The day she came back to school she met Jordan for the first time. Although she didn’t know who he was, he knew who she was. Then have a friendship that goes back and forth. What she is wanting to be able to feel less pain from her loss, he is unable to provide.

Then enters Colt. The “bad boy”. He is a football player that recently started her school. At first take he reminds her of her father in the way of looks. Though their personalities are different. With Colt she is able to rebel the way she has been wanting to.

The story goes through her friendships with these 2 boys, her best friend, and a girl she would have never talked to if circumstances had been different. She learns to work through her grief to get to a place where she feels better about her life.
