He knows he doesn’t really want the life of a dealer, but what other options does he have? Even his mom’s current boyfriend is a part of the gang.
This book is one that makes you wonder what the main character (Tony) will decide to choose with his life. Does he want to continue with the training, and maybe even getting a scholarship, or even a good job…..or does he want to get into being a dealer and making quick cash. Even more, can he willing get away from the gang to be able to work on getting out of Pleasant Meadow?
Tap Out doesn’t sugar coat things that do happen in real life. It is a wonderful tale of realizing you have to make your own decisions if you want your life to go anywhere. There is a lot of abuse (his mother is constantly being beat) and cussing. It is a great read. If you can handle reading this book with the abuse and swearing, do read it! You won’t be disappointed!
